Babylon 5 confirms reboot

Babylon 5 ran for 5 seasons between 1993 to 1998 before it was cancelled.
Now Babylon 5 is looking into a reboot, the original creator, J.Michael Straczynski has twitted. He will also be at the helm
The show that possesses some of the biggest foreheads on tv is set between 2257 and 2262, with the reboot set to focus on John Sheridan, an Earthforce officer with a mysterious past. John is assigned to Babylon 5, a five-mile long space station positioned in neutral space during a time of uneasy peace between planets.
Some claim that Star Trek: Deep Space 9 is a rip off of Babylon 5 but true trekkies claim there are 2 many differences including the storyline to claim it is a copy.
The original cast starred Michael O’Hare, Bruce Boxleitner, Claudia Christian, Jerry Doyle, Mira Furlan and Richard Biggs but as of yet no casting for the Warner Brothers reboot have been confirmed.
Since the reboot was announced, Straczynski has also shared a few more details about the progress he has made on the new show, tweeting: “We have some serious fans over at the network, and they’re eager to see this show happen. I’m hip deep into writing the pilot now, and will be running the series upon pickup.”
He added: “The network understands the uniqueness of Babylon 5 and is giving me a great deal of latitude with the storytelling. As noted in the announcement, this is a reboot from the ground up rather than a continuation.”
It is hoped that the special effects will be better than the originals that look like they were designed by the Red Dwarf effects team as you can see from one of the orignal trailers.
Babylon 5 scores an 8.3 on IMDB and 94% on Rotten Tomatoes. Showing that the people who did watch it did enjoy it. How will the reboot fair?
